Structural Project Portfolio - Office Buildings

Some of the office building projects that we completed are shown below:

Office Building, Largo Commons
Largo, Maryland
The project includes 6-story office building with 2-parking levels below the grade. The structural system includes concrete flat slab system with transfer beams at the Lobby Level; to be completed in 2009.

James Senate Office Building, State of Maryland, Annapolis, Maryland
Evaluated the structural capacity of the existing floor framing, and provided modifications to the existing floor framing of the Historical Structure; completed in 2002.

Health Care Financing Administration, General Services Administration, Woodlawn, Maryland
Designed two 6-story office buildings, and an Auditorium with a composite structural system; completed in 1995.

State House, State of Maryland, Annapolis, Maryland
Evaluated the structural capacity of the Attic floor, and provided a Structural Report for the Historical Structure; completed in 1998.

Microland Headquarters, Gaithersburg, Maryland
Designed 2-story office building with a structural steel system that includes joists with 3" concrete slab at floor level, and joists with 1" deck at roof level; completed in 1995.

Modifications, 1 Market Center, Baltimore, Maryland
Modified the existing first floor framing to allow an increased load due to file cabinets;
completed in 1995.

Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund, Annapolis, Maryland
Designed several additions to a large office complex. The structural system included steel joists/beams, in which steel joists are cantilevered with a bottom chord bearing; completed in 1998.

Long and Foster Office Building, Hagerstown, Maryland
Designed one story addition with a roof framing with pre-engineered wood trusses, supported on steel beams. Also, provided "corrective details" to existing trusses with plywood gusset plates;
completed in 2003.
