Evaluated the existing building, and provided "modifications" to the existing concrete building, built in the year 1876; completed in 2006.
Pond Condominiums, Forest Hills, Maryland
Designed 3-story condominium building with 12-units. The floor framing included wood trusses with an opening at the center of truss, to allow mechanical systems; completed in 1995.
Patterson Park Plaza, Baltimore, Maryland
Evaluated the existing 5-story concrete building built in the year 1908, and the study indicated that the existing footings and columns can take an additional load. Therefore, two story townhouses are added with a wood framing supported on metal studs; to be completed in 2009.
Callow Ave. Condominiums, Baltimore, Maryland
Evaluated existing 3-story apartment buildings, and designed new floor and roof framing with TJI joists, supported on existing brick walls; completed in 2006.
New Urban Housing, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Designed 3-story townhouses with conventional wood framing. The project site is in hilly surroundings, requiring two story masonry walls to resist the earth pressure. The project received a national award; completed in 1995.
Ridgley Commons, Baltimore, Maryland
Evaluated an existing gymnasium building, and prepared plans for four 2-story townhouses. The project also included new townhouses with a two-story living room. The project received an architectural award; completed in 2004.
